Don Duong District People’s Committee issued a plan and held a launching ceremony to plant 4.8 million trees in the district following the movement of planting 1 billion trees launched by the Prime Minister and the plan to plant 50 million trees in Lam Dong province.
The plan to plant 4.8 million trees is a huge goal for the whole period of 2021 – 2025. On June 7th, 2021, the People’s Committee of Don Duong District called on agencies, units, businesses and people in the district to join hands to contribute funds, seedlings and join forces to respond to planting, tending and managing the trees; to fulfilling the annual tree planting target and reaching at least 4.8 million living and well-developed trees by the end of 2025.
The goal of planting trees is to develop the environment landscape, replace old dying trees, increase green density, contribute to reducing the impact of climate change and environmental pollution, prevent illegal encroachment of forest land, protect infrastructure and tree garden, and prevent erosion.
In response to the People’s Committee of Don Duong District’s call, on July 2nd, 2021, Acteam International Co., Ltd. contributed VND100,000,000 (one hundred million Vietnam Dong) to the Don Duong Forest Protection Office.
We join hands and dedicate to build Don Duong District for sustainable and comprehensive development which supports to achieve new rural district for technological agricultural production.
